Two Tone Paint Job

Guys,

I'm now ready to paint my 67ss and I'm having some sleepless nights on the paint color.. My kids want me to go with a 2 tone scheme... I need some advice and some photos on how this car would look...

Thanks, Fred

I seen a car in a magazine once that was painted vanilla shake and sunburst orange and omg that thing was awesome. If and when I get ready to paint mine thats what it going to be. The paint was broke at the body line from the front fender though the door and to the rear fender. The orange was the bottom and vanilla top. All I can say it was beautiful and eye catching.

For a light two tone I think this is classy looking and luxury: http://www.theautochannel.com/news/2...12643.1-lg.jpg
For something flashy a Metallic blue (cobalt or sonic) on bottom and silver up top with tinted windows is always nice or you can go with a burnt/bronze orange with pearl white top (this is what I was considering doing to mine).

Mine was a factory two-tone according to the tag under the hood.

Red/white. I am interested in seeing one so i know how to restore it. Someone painted a nasty green over it. and changed the interior color to blue instead of the factory red.

I seen the orange with silver also. Doesn't sound like a good combo but look for one on the web. Flat out awesome.
