why not put a 5 lug rearend in

Do you have any reason not to put the rearend out of a 64 through 67 with the 5 lug bolt pattern in?. I just picked one up with a 3.31 ratio.

Just cost and aggravation I guess. My 62 came with new chrome reverse 14 inch 4 lugs and new tires. I'm just looking to eliminate a howl or roar.

I just got back from buying it. I also got both spindles with drums and hardware. I guess I'm set for 4 lugs for now.

Looking at this swap I remember another gotcha on 62 vs 63. When I converted my 62 to use self adjusters I had to drill slots in the backing plate on one side because the self adjuster star wheels are turned around and you can't get to them from the original hole. It's either that or get 63 drums which have the adjuster hole in the drum. I guess a 62 drum could be drilled? So if I want to use this entire 63 rear end I need to find 63 drums or drill the backing plates on both sides.
