Which color do you like the best

Hello All,

We have production samples in and would like to get some feedback as to which color you like on the wheel. The options are:

Sandblasted centers:

Charcoal centers:

Black centers:

The center cap in the first picture will be what we are offering for a center cap on these wheels. We should have some wheels mounted on a first gen tomorrow for everyone to see.

Thanks for voting.

Bob

we will shoot them on a black 1st gen tomorrow, here is a rendering with the sandblasted version on a red 67

We are probably only going to produce two of the colors to offer to the public, we will use the results of this poll to help us determine which colors make the final cut.

Thanks,

Bob

Bob,

When do you anticipate these being released to the public? I am about to pull the trigger on wheels and if these are in the near future I may just hold off.

What sizes will they come in?

Thanks!

They should be available in October, size will be 17x7 4.75" B.S.

Not sure if that will be soon enough for you.

Thanks,

Bob

Timing for production release is about perfect for stage II of my never ending LS Wagon project. The natural blasted finish is my preference - will this be a bare casting or clear coated?

And not being excessively picky - but it would be great if the center cap was plain with no text. I understand the TM costs involved with incorporating a bowtie along with the tooling costs of multiple types of caps, but a plain cap would be desirable to me.

Not at this time, only 17x7 to begin with but if there is enough demand we would explore tooling up for that size.

All the wheels have a clear coat on them and will clean up easily

You hit the nail on the head with the TM costs which is why we went the route we did. The center bore on the wheel is designed the same as the old school Cragars so those caps should also fit this wheel if you like that look better. The plan is to include the cap in the picture with the wheel, it will be a plastic snap on.

As promised we have a couple of shots with the wheels on a first gen. We are working on some more but those won't be done till Monday.

Here are a couple of shots of the Charcoal wheel:

My vote would be the Sandblasted finish and the Charcoal finish.

I was leaning toward the natural blasted finish until I saw these mounted - If I were located in Vegas, I'd be begging to buy the prototypes! These look great!

Black and sandblasted

I think the black and sandblasted would go good with most colors. Are these the same wheels that were asked about a while ago, with the good price point?
The size and backspacing are great for 1st gens

These are the same ones, the pictures are of the first samples. We are shooting for the production run to be available in October, we will probably only offer two color choices and we are trying to get the sites help to determine which two would be the most popular.

Thanks,
Bob
