I know this is impossible to find, but $750.19 seems a bit high.

How do you know if it should be on YOUR car or not, and did it only come on L79's. It is a rare peace if you need it?

It didn't come on L79 cars. It was on the cheaper version models.

Sigh... being sold by another would-be Jesse James.

$2000 for this wagon one????? Same seller. I have a NOS one too that I will be selling some day for wayyyyyyyyyyy less. There has been one on ebay for $1450 a few times too. They aren't in the price range(IMO) in todays market.

'Brand damn new'! What a joke. Zoom in on this piece. Scratches all over it and the attaching hardware has surface rust. The box has a different number than the part. As mentioned, these only came on very early cars, so it would be incorrect for most 67s. I'd never buy anything from his 'living estate sale'.

I am as amused as I am disgusted by these ads. Isn't there a new category, 'NODS' or something, for 'New Old Damaged Stock'? There's plenty of it.

Aside from the misinformation, I always imagine what the total cost of this '67 'L-79' would be if bought from this dude part by part. Couple million?

Red face Itchy and Scratchy

And as our Moderator points out, the thing is covered with scratches.

There is no accounting for taste, but I think it looks odd.

I sold an NOS one last year w/out a box, but in mint condition. I ran it a few times on eBay a few different ways: w/reserve, w/out reserve and Buy It Now. It had tons of interest and views but ended up going for $275. That still seems to me a reasonable fair price, mostly because what it is. Very limited # of cars would require it and they are not for L79 cars but base models which the majority of cars that I have seen them on originally were 4 doors and sedans.

These prices are seriously an eye-roller for me.

There's a pic somewhere of a 1967 SS with this emblem. I think it was a green car. Anybody?

Here's an old eBay listing from last year showing a sedan with the rare hood emblem. Production sequence number is 3548...early build.

I also have a SS early production with the emblem. I don't think it was model specific.
