reupholstering seats - cost

Hi guys,
I am going to recover my seats in my 67 2-dr sedan and I am wondering how much is fair to pay to a shop. Car has split front bench. I have new seat covers in hand. Seats will need new foam and probably a couple of springs fixed, then the new covers put on. What is a fair price to expect to pay to have this work done?

thanks

seat reconering

I don't know if it was fair pricing, because we only have two shops in my area, but I paid a shop $365 to replace the foam & replace the covers (I supplied) on a, pair of factory buckets for my '73.

Steve, how long ago did you have yours done and did you need new foam and/or springs?

In my experience, I had someone go to the body shop and replace all the covers and install the carpet, door panels, and the SS emblems on the covers I purchased. It was on a 63 SS Nova. He charged me $750.
I could imagine if I just brought down the seats and put everything in myself it would have been much cheaper. So maybe $400-500 seems like what I would expect in the future.
I plan on suppling the buns and covers and trying to get it done for $200-300. That is just my stingy way of thinking. lol
