I'm driving my car more and looking to get rid of the Crane 274H06 (218 @ .050 .450 106 LC) and go with something that idles a little smoother and delivers better driveability. Just wanted to get some feeback here on some choices. I'd prefer not using a extreme type cam. This is for my other car and I will be using it to drive to work. It's a 355 with world products heads 2.02 x 1.6 with 9.5 CR. Scorpion full roller rockers. Using a Holley 300-36 intake with a 600 AFB. Headers with dual exhaust. Super T-10 ultra low w/ 3.42 first with 2.73 posi. I've been looking at these 3 grinds.

I have that cam in the junk 350 sitting in the garage--I couldn't tell it was any different than a stocker! It's about as tame as grannies car.
Maybe your engine has other issues? Of course with a 2.73 gear any cam would seem big!
Isky's 256 or 262 Supercam would do the trick. I don't like the wide lobe seperation like all the ones you chose. They idle ok, but.......
