For those with an s10 rearend. What are you using for a rear flex hose? I'm assuming the s10 factory hose and hardlines are metric and I need to mate this to a 7/16-24 brake line on the chassis.
When I put my S-10 rear end in I figured out what was on the rearends brake line and the cars brake line.I went to Napa and got a fitting that had standard on one end and metric on the other and used it to mate the two brake lines.
Ok so it does have metric lines. I want to add a stainless braided hose and move it to the other side of the diff so it lines up with the chassis line. Which means new hard lines on the rearend. So I think the best way to do it is to redo all the lines sae and use adapters at the wheel cylinders. Thoughts?
I took all the lines apart today and found out that they are all sae. Hardlines and flex hose. Just to add a FYI. This rearend is out of a 2004 s10 and is the 8.5.
