Does anyone know of anyone that sells a replacement trans tunnel,or am I gonna have to find a donor car? What will work in a 67 Wagon? My wagon was an auto and the previous owner cut the hole for the shifter hump and never installed it. The floors are solid as a rock with no damage or rust anywhere else so I hate to give $400 for a complete pan.
Can't you just make a patch panel and weld it in? If you flange it to the inside then weld the underside and grind the welds a little it would be almost impossible to see unless you pulled the carpet
That would be my recommendation too. Full floor pans are great, but they are still a lot of work to install correctly. Especially when all you really need to patch is a shifter hole.
I just cut the tunnel out of my car to install a 4L80 trans if you can send me a pic of what you are trying to replace I may have what you need.
