Pieces from coil springs

When I put the coil overs in do I need the 2 pieces that came off the org. coil spring one piece shaped like a U the other is round with a knoch where the spring end stops!

You will need a stock coil spring cup and a stock shock tower to install CBR/VIKING coilovers. Though I don't know what you mean by "the 2 pieces that came off the org. coil spring one piece shaped like a U"
