Not the nova but the galaxie, i can't get the tail lights to turn off.I remove the key and switch all the other lights off but the tail lights wont go out. any suggestions?I need to do a brake job on it very soon could that cause this? 4 wheel drums.. All other lights and directionals work fine, it may be a short somewhere but i was wondering if there are any switches that would cause this? Thanks for any help........
I'm with these guys....I bet it is your brake lights and you need to adjust your switch on you brake pedal. It's threaded on a mount and would be very easy to adjust.
The lights get brighter if i step on the brakes, are they pressure sensitive, as in they get brighter with more pressure?I'll try to adjust that switch and see what happens.....
Yep, the switch on the brake pedal....I cant figure out how to adjust this, although i haven't tried but i did get the tail lights to go out by just wiggling the switch.. Here is what it looks like any idea's?or just replace? SWITCH
There is no adjustment on those switches to my knowledge. Buy a new one.
