here we go again:yes:
I just picked up the motor and trans today:yes: I'll start stripping down the motor tomorrow:yes: I'll be putting an LS1 intake on this one:yes:
Thats funny!!!dropping that motor and tranny in was probably one of the easiest Ive ever done(except for one motor mount bolt)!!!Lots of room with that clip....hey mike you did tighten up that motor mount on the drivers side right...not the bolt...the actual mount bolts
man...you need to put something on that inner fenderyour gonna tear it up with all those toolsit would literally take 5 minutes??cut a piece of cardboard to fit and blue tape it on there:yes:didn't we have this discussion alreadyYou paid alot of money for that paint job...keep it nice!!!
ps nice job:yes:
I picked up a set of headers for mock up today:yes: these are the Sanderson LS-14 headers for LS1 and a stock front clip and steering box. They fit pretty good but they are only 1 1/2" primaries and they don't clear the stock shift linkage not sure what headers I'm going to run
Bro, check out, mandrel bending solutions. They have a set for 2010 camaros, all stainless, and with a little machineing I got them to work with my TCI clip. And the space gets pretty tight with this clip. Art
I will email them to you. I had to flycut the flanges on an angle to kick the collectors toward the block. Thier ad sais they are 1.75", but they are 1.625".
Or just get rid of the o2's and MAF all together and run SD OL (Speed Density Open Loop)
In my opinion, to tune correctly you need to disable the MAF and put it into SD anyhow, then re-enable the MAF and scale the tables back to the correct values.
Just curious, did they come with Allen head bolts or 12 point head bolts?
