Are there any hooker headers that will fit need to get a set so I can finish steering. If not what other brands would work.

Small Block or Big Block?

I run of set of these on my '62 with a TCI Front Clip. Big Block Chevy. Fit like a glove.

Hooker Headers #2243. I use the TCI headers from the previous post and like them. Only issue is they don't give you enough room for a bolt head.

TCI SBC Headers

I recently installed a pair of these headers with no front sheetmetal on the car and had them attached to the engine in 45 minutes. Best header installation I have ever experienced! Some of the bolts are challenging to tighten, but a crowfoot wrench works great. I sourced mine from Tim's and agree with all the great comments about him.

Did the 2243 Hookers fit the TCI subframe? The TCI frame rails are 2" closer together than the stock rails plus the engine is centered. I figured they Hookers would hit the left frame rail.

I did see them in a 65 with a TCI IFS. I use the ones I got from you. The owner of the 65 said they fit well. The way the #1 and #2 tubes go up and over, I guess they get back past the narrowed section of the subframe.

Here is a picture I took at the show. It belongs to another member. I think they are the Hookers.

I would love to see a pic of the drivers side of that car. They look like Hookers.
I wonder if they are 2243 or 2122 headers
I need a new set of headers for my TCI. I wonder who makes them for TCI since S&S went out of business.

Tom,
TCI has a local header builder that makes them for them. They said they would have to kill me if they told me who it is! They look and fit just as good as the old S&S Headers did. I have them in stock if you need a pair. PM me.

These cost way more than the TCI headers, but they are an option

My only reason for looking for something different is that I would like to get them uncoated, make some minor mods then have them coated black.

Tim, I dont suppose the TCI headers are available uncoated are they?
Thanks
Tom

TCI said they would sell them uncoated but I would have to buy 10 sets. How many do you want?
