Easiest way to convert auto to manual trans?

I have aspirations of the Tremec 6 speed route, but have a limited time to get this thing on the road and Muncie parts seem to be more of a bolt in fit (correct me if I'm wrong). I need to know the cheapest/fastest way to get my '63 converted over to a manual transmission. The reason for time crunch is that my dad is coming to visit in Memorial day and I'd like to open the garage with this car for him to drive while he's here. Any help or suggestions will be much appreciated.

Thanks!
C.

Do you want overdrive? Do you want to cut into the Trans tunnel are some of the questions if you want a 5 or 6 speed overdrive Trans. How much power you have or you plan to upgrade. Hydraulic or mechanical clutch actuation?

Garage
I've seen this one, very small but not cheap, I'm sure you would still have to mod the floor a bit.

I'd do 4-5-or-6 speed transmission whatever is available. The car isn't heading off to the power tour in the next 5 years so I have some time to think about the end result. As for right now I just want to get a manual transmission in it and functioning so the car runs well enough to beat around for the weekend.
