Hi everyone, this is a great site for info and thanks to all. I started this resto on a 69 L78 SS car 22 years ago. I have not touched the car since 1992, when a painter screwed up the paint for me. The car is tripple black and I got back to work on it about a month ago!!!!!!!!!! Feels good to be back in the game! SS

SC is a small state but it is bigger than my back yard, so unless you say from where in SC how am I to know where you are... Welcome to the site, not like I have been here on Steve's long myself. I have a 69 Nova that is always being worked on and show it from time to time. I am from York and I hope we can meet up some day... Ken

sorry guys,

I'm from Walhalla, SC in the upstate not far from the Clemson Tigers. My car is a triple black 69 L78 car with 400 turbo, 12 bolt 3.73, buckets, console w/ gages, tach in dash, ps,power disc, the normal stuff for these. Although, I have only seen a few cars with the duel rocker panel molding, anyway, this is a great site with great people seems like. SS

Believe it or not the tach option is pretty rare in these cars, too.

I have a couple L78 cars myself, I really like the one here in the pic below, because it's a barebones car, no options except the BB!

Welcome to the site!

Welcome to the site! I am in NC but only 5 or 10 minutes from SC border. Used to work in Fort Mill/ Rock Hill. I go to Clemson area all the time for work so you are very close by.
