'64 from idiot to gauge

So I am finally getting around to installing my SS gauge cluster.
Going from the warning lamps or idiot lights to gauges.
I have installed the correct temp sender and I am now looking at what to do at the gauge.
My question is: Can I remove the warning lamp, and use the two wires (dark green and pink) to work the now temp gauge?

The temp gauge requires a different sending unit than the idiot light uses. The factory SS Amp gauge requires the external shunt. The color of the wires shouldn't matter.

Both can be purchased at Chevy2Only and other Nova parts vendors.

The fuel gauge will work with your existing sending unit.

The oil pressure gauge is mechanical and requires the tubing and fitting that goes in the back of your engine block.
