1976-78 Nova SS and Rally Grills - Diamond Pattern - Coming Soon!

Hello Steve's Nova Site Members,

Just wanted to let you guys know that the highly sought after fourth gen Nova SS and Rally grills are in development and coming soon.

These are the "diamond pattern" grills that originally came on 1976 SS models and 1977-78 Rally models.

Also in development are the Park Lamp Assemblies for these grills.

Classic Industries is now taking pre-orders for these grills if any forum members would like to get on the list early to try to ensure that you will receive one from the initial run.

Keep in mind that although you will need to secure the order with a credit card, you will not be charged at all for the item until it ships.

I hope you guys are as excited about this new product as we are.

Any questions, please feel free to PM me here at Steve's Nova Site.

Best Regards,

Ray

Part # 360605 is injection molded plastic finished in chrome, and the grill bars are accent painted in black.

Hi Deryl,
Thank you for the reply. We are not aware of such a rule for supporting vendors posting in their own area of the forum. However, please note that we have included links in the post (click on the part #) that are directed to the product landing page on the CI website so that any interested forum member can click through to view current and up-to-date pricing on the CI website at any time.

We felt this was the best solution to ensure that the pricing is up-to-date at all times. If there are any other questions we can answer about this product or others, feel free to PM me here anytime.

Thanks again for the interest.

Do you have an approximate ETA for the grills and lights? Are we talking weeks or months?

Excited to see these coming out. Great to have other options.

Hello RedDirt,

Thanks for the inquiry. We are definitely talking about several months. Our hope is to have them in stock by the end of the year (2017). But at this time there is no firm ETA from our supplier. As soon as we have a firm ETA from the supplier, we will update our post.

We were informed yesterday by our supplier's R&D team that these are in the tooling phase. First article samples have been produced by the factory and now they are working on the QC phase which involves test-fitting, making sure the fit, finish, markings, etc. are correct as per spec. After QC phase, then they will move to production. This of course, can take several months.

We are pretty excited about these parts being produced because we have had requests for them from Nova enthusiasts. I think we can all agree that it is good to see late model Nova parts come to the market.

By the way, there are some items we are looking for if any forum members happen to have used originals in good condition or NOS items for sale. Please PM me here is anyone has the following items for sale or trade.

Nova SS Grill Emblem
358746 - 1976 SS

Brackets, Grille Mounting
345512, 345511 - 1975 all
345512, 345511 - 1976 SS

I may have a slightly used SS grill emblem. It was a NOS and I used it only for car shows.

Thank you. It is our pleasure to announce new items that are in the pipeline, especially when they are extraordinary, so desperately needed and/or unusual items. I will PM you regarding the emblem.

Update: 04-04-2017

Emblem has been acquired and is in tooling now.

We are still seeking brackets as listed below.

If any member is able to help with a set of original brackets, we would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you.
