TCI front clip coilover issue Need Assistance

I recently purchased a 67 Nova which has what I believe is an older version of TCI front clip with adjustble front coilovers. The front coilovers Mount in a 1 inch bracket top and bottom via a spherical bearing. The coilovers have no poly bushing. The issue is the spherical bushing has enough play that the rod end of the coilovers "rattle" around inside the bracket, hitting the bracket, making a fair amount of noise.

Question; should there be a bushing or spacer to keep the coilovers square and prevent it from rotating and rattleimg around. When the car is jacked up. It just takes an index finger and thumb to turn the coilover back and forth to produce the issue.

I have pictures and a video to more clearly describe the issue, but can't seem to find a way to upload.

I would sure call TCI with that one, I just bought a new clip, they seem like good people to work with, Lifetime warranty on manufactured items and 6year/60,000 miles warranty on wear and tear items,

I spoke with TCI guys and they werent to helpful. They told me the solution was to make rubber spacers myself to see if that helped.

A tech named Ryan at Ridetech however knew of the issue exactly and put together an order for metal spacers that should used.

I emailed him a pic while he was putting together the order and he was very confident these spacers will allow the bearing its full movement but eliminate the gap between mounting bracket and rod ends 😀👍
