77 4 door

i have a 1977 nova 4 door with a 305 and i cant seem to find subframe mounts anywere. i even went to my local chevy dealer and they said they dont make them anymore. i was wonderind if there is any other year that will fit or if the 77 camaro would fit? and if it comes down to it i herd that i could use hockey pucks if you alter them to fit, is this true?

from what i know the subframe for a 70 - 81 camaro is identical to the 75 - 79 nova subframe.

but i know i've seen the subframe bushing in several places. classic industries carries them i believe. i know jeg's has em.

I think I posted this previously:

If you want polyurethane bushings (which most will contend are far superior to the stock ones), you might try Energy Suspension Part number 3-4129(g), which are Black.

They will not say "75-79 Nova" on the box, but trust me, they work.

Jegs, Summit, all the big parts houses carry them. $50-60 I think.

There are others on the forum that have also used these. Perhaps they will back up this post.

The subframes are not identical but do share some parts.

The correct bushings are the Energy Suspension Part number 3-4129G that Perple 76 posted. I used these in my 77 with no problems.
