Just tried to inquire about a part & was sent a bulletin that the token had expired. Could you please explain this to me?

I'm a bit confused as to what you're referring to. Were you sent a bulletin from SNS that had an expired token? I know there was a site newsletter that was sent last week, is this what you are referring to? If so, can you explain the token thing?

I was trying to reply to a fellow SNS members' thread for the price of a part on a car he was parting out. When I hit the "submit reply" button, a bulletin appeared & stated that my token had expired. I wasn't allowed to reply & I was directed back to the previous page. I tried submitting a reply to the thread several times ending with the same results. That's when I posted the question concerning tokens. I'm awaiting your reply with interest hoping for an explanation to two things. First, what's a token? Secondarily, am I the only one to have had a token expire?

Ok, I'm not 100% sure, but this sounds like a security type setting in your browser. Have you been able to reply to any ad on the site since this message started to appear? Can you post a link to the ad? In the meantime, try sending the seller a PM to make contact with them.

What I would suggest is that you clear your internet cookies that are temporarily stored on your computer, and then visit the site again. You will need to login again with your username and PW... Then try to reply again and let me know how you make out.

Thanks admin, I usually delete the cooky trail regularly & only experienced this during that session. Hadn't been exposed to a token until now. Everything seems to be operating correctly now. Appreciate the help.

No problem at all, and glad I could assist. Sometimes cookies go bad...I mean get corrupted.
