1970 Nova Battery, which is factory correct side post or top post?.....
Would '70 Novas & Acadians come from the factory with either the side mount terminals or were they still top post terminals? Which year was the change-over from top to the side post version?

I thought that the side posts came about in 73. Not sure on that though as all of my 73's have been far beyond any stock battery cables.

I believe Pontiac was first with the side post in '70. My '71 Chevy truck had a side post new.

chevy used the sidepost midyear in 1969 on the camaro.....not sure when they did it on novas..i'm a 1st 2nd gen guy....
