Framerails

Anyone repaired frame rails on 67? My frame are rusted through where the leaf spring shackels bolt on.Whats the best way to repair these?

I believe they make patch pieces to repair that area.I'm not sure about 2nd gens but they do have them for 3rd gens check with chevy2 only or J&W novaparts

Frame rails on 67

Has anyone tried repairing these by welding flat steel to the sides?
