Steve's Nova Site is an automotive enthusiast website dedicated to the 1962 - 1979 Chevrolet Nova, Chevy II and Acadian automobiles. We work together to preserve, restore, drive, show, race and provide fellowship for these classic cars. This is one of the best places to find information about parts, rebuilding, restoration and racing. This website is not affiliated with GM, General Motors or Chevrolet in any capacity.
They are Russel parts. Summit or Jeg's carry them. I can dig out the PN when I get my paperwork back in front of me, but they list them on the Russel site under Specialty EFI fittings. I've heard a lot of bad stories about the push on type, and followed those stories through until Russel came out with the two piece screw-together type, which is the one I use/sell.
Looks like we will also be offering a ZL1 pump option as well in the near future. Gotta get one here to be 100% sure it will work fine with the pickup setup.

ZL1 pump was delivered today. Only exterior difference is that there is an extra siphon jet on the bottom that is directly across from the location of the original siphon jet that is the same on the LS3 pump. This will do a nice job of keeping the bucket full longer due to the pump's higher fuel capacity.
It is a higher output pump that is recommended to be used with a PWM, however I have read about people that have been successfully running them with an internal regulator system. I do not have any firm data on the effects on pump longevity.
Also adding a different setup for the wiring harness to the product line. Connections for the sending unit as Delphi will be wired to a 4 pin flat male Weather Pack connection with a 4 pin flat female Weather Pack connection plugged into that with 12 gauge pump power leads and 16 gauge sending unit leads coming out to connect to the customers wires. This will allow easier installation/removal of the tank without putting stress on wires or connections.
New harness setup (P/N PHARN): $75 Sending unit ends are crimped and then heated. The insulation is a shrink tube type with a small bead of solder inside. The shrink tube shrinks up when heated, and the solder then melts and offers a more reliable connection than just the crimp. Sending unit wires are 16 gauge, and the pump power/ground are 12ga. Overall length is approximately 24 inches long.
P/N ZL1: $85 additional to DIY kit price or complete tank price. ZL1 PUMP NOT YET READY FOR SALE WITH DIY KIT OR COMPLETE TANK
Here is the bottom of the ZL1 pump (pump on the right). You can see the black connection tube that links the extra bottom siphon suction to the jet pump. This pump is the exact same size as the LS3 2010 Camaro pump (pump on the left). I have NOT designed the pickup tube connections for this one yet. It may not be necessary to modify this pump like I do for the LS3 pumps due to the extra bottom siphon that will naturally be located at the front/lowest portion of the tank. I will follow up with the details of that soon.
P/N VENT: $15 Stainless 3/8 female NPT vent bung can be added along with the DIY kits as a separate piece.
P/N VENTWELD: $30 Vent bung welded into a complete tank. P/N VENTWELD. Includes the vent bung as well as the weld-in installation.

Have you though of working on an increased capacity fuel tank for 3rd Gen's???
12 Gallons is not enough, as you may imagine, and adding another 4 or 6 gallons should not be a huge addition in volume size. What do you think? Plus, it would give you an "in" to leverage your electric fuel pump kit into one of them.
Even when the 307 was installed, 12 gallons was not enough because on a long trip, I had to fuel when hitting my last quarter tank of fuel. Now with the 427, that will come sooner.

Sale pending on the last tray kit in stock. Currently waiting on the supplier to return a quote for the 68-72 A body setups along with the next order of Nova setups. Probably looking at a 4 week lead time before the next round will be delivered to me and then the time for me to put the kits together.
