Steve's Nova Site is an automotive enthusiast website dedicated to the 1962 - 1979 Chevrolet Nova, Chevy II and Acadian automobiles. We work together to preserve, restore, drive, show, race and provide fellowship for these classic cars. This is one of the best places to find information about parts, rebuilding, restoration and racing. This website is not affiliated with GM, General Motors or Chevrolet in any capacity.
I seem to have read that there is currently no active Michigan Nova Club even though at least a couple have been started and folded. I'm not a good candidate to start one, since I'm just beginning to get the Nova fever and don't even own a classic car of any type, nor have I ever owned one before. However, I do think I could gain a ton of information if I could get with such owners and hang out and learn from their collective wisdom. Having said all that, does anybody out there know of any other group with lots of Nova owners in the Southeastern Michigan/Northwestern Ohio area? I have seen a fair number of Novas at various car shows (Such as the Woodward Dream Cruise) so I tend to think there must be some sort of gathering of like minds somewhere in the area.
You think you have it bad over there, come on over to the west side of Michigan. I'm from the Grand Rapids area and there isn't anything over here at all. Lots of little cruise-ins but generally only 5-15 cars.

The Metro Detroit Chapter of National Nostalgic Nova folded up several years ago due to lack of interest and I was the vice-pres. when it folded. Currently I am unemployed with no benefits and once I can gain employment I would like to look into restarting that chapter. When a few of you guys were talking on here about Woodward, I asked that you let me know what you were doing and no one did. I hope it wasn't cause I have a 4th gen car.
