Seems as though you answered your own question!

Don't do it man! Your car is sweet!

He offered less, so the decision was much easier to make Rodney will stay with me for awhile longer; now to start adding more stuff Have a new Rostra cruise control unit to install before the next trip out of town and the front suspension needs to be a little softer.

Glad to see that the decision was made easier for you. As long as you are having fun with it, it is hard to put a price on it.

That motor trans rear gear ratio, you've got is about perfect in my book, in fact I'm building the same except using 255/60 Bfg TA's.

We've all seen the price of new cars and even 5 year old cars, a guy could easily spend double what you were asking on a new pony car or even a half ton 4X4 truck. And there isn't anything on the lot for 20K that comes in close to as cool as your ride.
Please forget what that guy offered and apologize to your car for even considering selling it.

Next you'll need to throw a number higher than you have invested. Then you will know you can re-invest if you desire. Most people that ask turn into jerks anyway after you give them a price, they have no idea what it takes to put a project together.

It is a little device invented to insure if you fall asleep while driving the car will maintain its preset speed until impact

Phlip! No one has suggested to you to tell this guy that you would build him one and this way you can make some extra cash to take your wife out for dinner, jewelry or clothes etc.

Not a bad idea but no one would pay for the time it would cost to build another

Glad to hear you're not selling yours. I love it, but then again it reminds a lot of mine. Last time I had mine appraised the appraiser told me it would go for $25k fully restored. Of course given the sentimental meaning behind mine, it would take almost twice that to get it off of my hands.

Thanks Mike, your car was the inspiration for keeping mine white. Some day there will be a pinstripe like the one on your car only in red.
