wow------ Philip------ y'r picture is good------- you age well....
maybe we can pick --- like the 1st sat. of each month ( or 2nd - 3rd ), and that would be the set day to meet- (that's how we do our local cruise-night during the summer months...... 1st friday each month for Chino Valley.... 2nd sat for prescott cruise-night). sometimes I can make maybe 3-4 then have to work, then make a meet later on. I'm just putting things out there----- somebody come - up with somethin' else--- and I'll follow the crowd---
if we get a good turn-out , all is good and if not------- that's good
Yeah, how about a Christmas run??? Of course, not Christmas Day, but before it??? I mean, isn't on a Tuesday this year??? The 22nd or 23rd would work great.
I have been inviting myself, but hoping not have to drive to Phonix because I would have to get back by Christmas Eve.
No one likes the Williams idea?

I'd be game for a pre-xmas run. My only issue is a weird whirring that comes and goes with the throttle at 55+ and vibration over 60. But other than that she's golden!

See if it does it while on neutral or park but at the RPM's equivalent to 60 MPH, and it makes the sound, does it change with RPM changes?....and. If not, then it is probably drive train related. Being that is at 60 MPH, do you think it could be tire balancing?!?!

It doesn't do it in drive or park, and the whirring isn't present on the highway when I drop it in neutral and rev the engine. It's definitely drivetrain-related. I'm pretty sure it's the rear end, since it's been around since before the LS swap (during which the engine/trans/driveshaft/wheels/tires were changed, plus the driveshaft was balance checked). I just never drove much above 60 pre-swap, since it has 3.90 gears and I didn't have an OD trans at the time.
Edit: I've also made sure the driveline angle is good and consistent front-to-rear. I will borrow a set of wheels to test mine before taking her to a diff shop.
