Firewall grommets.

Not a grommet,but I made these out of an old exhaust bend. Gave me a lot of room to get the big ends of the harness threw.

I used a split one with a 1" hole for Derek's car

My stock harness had a big grommet that had a really small hole in it. I opened up that hole and used it for the firewall penetration.

A couple of places. Look into a Mustang catalog for a body plug kit. Very versitle. Next do a junk yard dive. All late model cars have any number of firewall grommets and door grommetts for power windows ect.Most places give them away.

My groomet is an 2 piece aluminum that a friend made for me. its to the right of the dipstick. I already had a hole there from the feed through coil wire....

Think the diameter for hole is small. I forgot what size hole I have, but it had to big enough for both PCM connectors.

The PCM connectors can be easily unhooked, the wiring fished through the grommet and firewall, then the connectors put back on. Just be sure to label the wires correctly!

I think I found what we need. They are sold through McMaster Carr.

First Link is the grommet specs., second is the McMaster number crossover.

What size is needed to fit the connectors through?

I know that PSI uses a 2" for the hole saw size, but I'm sure the connectors won't fit, so not real sure....but I know what it isn't.....
