Windshield Wiper motor question

Has anyone replaced a stock windshield wiper motor for a 67 Nova with a different one that mounts inside the firewall under the dash to get it our of the engine compartment? If so please tell me how you did it and which motor you used. Sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum

Installed a DSE wiper kit on our 65, which would be the same basic kit but different knob. Very simple install.
