I didn't want a cowl hood or any holes in the hood so I used the small block mounts to keep things low [IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

[IMG][/IMG]I had it this far along and something terrible happend on the first start , well it could have been worse . Here's how the story goes . I went to start my car for the first time with the big block in it and it would just not stay running , I noticed a little smoke coming from the intake gasket , right at that point I new what I had done , I used the wrong intake gasket ( dah ) must had been my first day working on engines . That turned out to be the blessing in disguise, after taking the intake back off I was using a towel to soak up some antifreeze out of the valley and when I got back by #8 I found the push rod laying on the block right next to the piece of the lifter it broke , yep stuck a valve , I'm really glad it didn't start [IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]
