and they are a "STYLE" they dont add lighting to your lights!

yes, definately a H4 upgrade is way better than silverstar. my .02c
Just an FYI to anyone thinking about putting anything other than white or orange lights on the front of their car, red or blue lights anywhere on the outside of your vehicle are illegal for on-road use, for obvious reasons . . .

Know is there anything else you need? New or different wiring? The one I've looked at have H4 bulbs.

I used the wiring harness upgrade from Classic Industries when I installed mine. For the halo lights did not want to wire them to the park lights, new wiring and a lighted switch were used to power them.

I personel like them, I haven't attached the blue lights. I'm going to connect the blue lights to the directional so when I signal the blue lights will turn on too.

So the halo portion is a separate light that can be wired to come on with the parking lamps (or also by themselves from a separate switch)? Does that mean that the halo headlamp has a different connector setup on the back to accommodate an extra lead for the halos?

I put a relay system in my car that is rated for H4 lights. Then I ran the Bosch H4 headlights with replaceable H4 beams in them. They light up GREAT. But I'm kinda digging the looks of that halo ring, so what would I need to do to mine to get it to work? My H4 bulb connections are identical to the stock ones, so I'm guessing that the halo lamps have an extra terminal on them for the halo ring, right?

The headlight uses the original plug, The halo portion has a seperate hot and ground that can be wired as running lights or turn signals. This should be an easy conversion for you with your new harness.

Red or blue to the front is your quickest way for a chat with your local public safety personnel. ... at least in California.

There is a guy on you tube that shows how to make your own halos using the stuff the company's use. He makes it look extremely easy and does it at a very cheap cost. You would be able to use the existing lights you have on your car too so it might be worth checking out. I dont have a link tho I just remember checking into it when I was going to put them in my R1.
