hey,,if you see a guy with a TLB t-shirt,it'll probably be me.say hello if you want..going out and try to get most of the subframe unbolted tonite..its surprising, that after 16 years of sitting outside in our crappy climate, most of the bolts are coming loose..just a couple stubborn ones one the rad cradle..o well,it'll probably be replaced with square tubing, for the tilt frontend..later y'all.

stephenzone,,you just reminded me..I was looking at a straight axle up in the coborg area..I think it might be too wide though..51 inches centre to centre of the kingpins..might keep looking.

howdy 63akd..the car isn't too awfully bad shape..I've had a lot worse projects..I'm surprised at the condition after sitting in the elements for all those years..if it wasn't for a piece of carpet in the back floor section getting wet, the floors wouldn't be too bad..I'm still debating on replacing the pans even though i got new ones with the car.

hey, thats good news, everyone scored at the swapmeet..the axle is 50.5 I believe, kingpin centre to centre..should work fine if my calculations are correct..did any of you see the old Cragars,14 x 6's ? he was at the one corner..anyways,they are supposed to be the first generation, magnesium finish, but man,are they heavy..would be different anyways..I have a line on some 55-57 sbc fenderwells.does anyboby here know if they would be too wide.they look like it too me..ok,enufff for now,off to work.
