For my 77 im running a new steering pump and my old rag joint wont fit onto the shaft, its a rebuilt steering pump and the previous own said it was from a quick steer camero, does anyone know the size or what too look for in the junkyard? I looked em up n i cant really afford to take a shot in the dark buy a new one Plus there friggin expensive!!!!!!!!
1976 is size the split i think it is a easy fix first you need to tell use why it does note fit is the rag joint to big or to small then we can tell what you need
my guess is that the rag joint is to big in that case a rag joint from a pre 76 nova or camoro should work fine
Not really, but if the coupler you have now does not fit, then you need the larger size. Only 2 to choose from.
If you have some 12 point sockets, see which one will fit over the splined shaft. That should indicate if it is 3/4" or 13/16".
