Hey, thanx for the inquire and letting me know u like our 63. TCI front is a coil-spring clip[ that I converted to ridetech shockwaves. All that was installed 10 years ago. Rear is a parallel 4-bar with a track locator bar similar to what Heidts sells - shockwaves out back too. At this time there are more options than back in '05 so what u choose will depend on ur intent for the ss. IMO, for a pure street cruiser - which is what we have - I'd look at a coil-over front and either a parallel 4-bar with a panhard bar or a triangulated 4 bar rear. Plenty of vendors out there, but I like TCI and Chassisworks. I've installed their products on several 1st/2nd gens. My fronts rollers are 215/50 on 17x7 w/4" bs. rears are 255/50 on 17x8 w/4.5 bs....car has been minitubbed....hope this helps

Hey Dan, thanks for the inquire...since retirement, I no longer sell AAW products. I have installed classic update p/n 510140 and I believe you will be happy with the kit... good luck and enjoy your project.

Rob, thanks for the compliment on our 63 and have fun with your project. The car was built 9-10 yrs ago and many better components are now available. Up front I installed a TCI coil spring front clip with Ridetech Mustang II up and low control arms along with their Mustang II shockwaves. The rear suspension was a combination of Chassisworks lower cross member and a parallel 4 bar similar to what Heidts now offers. Shockwaves out back too. Rear housing is a 9" Ford IMO, with what is available today, I'd seriously look at TCI coil-over front clip with shockwaves and TCI torque arm or standard coil-over rear and add shockwaves to either of those. Let me know if you'd like any other info.....good luck with the 65ss

Good morning. I am starting on my 65 SS project shortly, and I love the stance you have on yours. Can you tell me what you're running for suspension on that? It looks perfect. Thanks.

    Hello,
I am building a 63 convertible and I want to switch out my 2 pedal manual to a single pedal automatic. I read a post that mentioned you might have one, any such luck?
I am a newbie and I'm fumbling my way around in this site so bare with me.

    Frank,
I'm interested in American Autowire kit (part # 500878) for my '69 Nova. I was pulling apart the engine bay to freshen it up before my LS swap and I found some scary stuff done a long time ago by another owner. So rather than try to fix just the engine harness, I was thinking of updating the whole thing. What kind of price could I get shipped to 11566?
You can pm me back, email me at frankpul@verizon.net, or call me @ 516-946-7661.
    Thanks - Frank

I got your tag from reading about American autowire. I need a new modified complete wiring harness for my 1966 Nova SS, their part # 510140 ( not positive I'll recheck) Engine, Dash, and Tail. The new harness with the updated fuses. I am planning an LS swap but the whole car needs new wires. I read you might have a hook.
    Thanks

Looking thru post about the best suspension for a project 63 SS Hardtop we pulled out of the barn today. Put it on a rollback to a shop. The owner of the shop says he will be ready in three weeks for a suspension. Which one would you recommend for the money? The reason i'm asking here instead of the suspension forum is I completely removed all wiring from the car befor putting on the truck this am and will need a complete wiring kit for the car and like the stance of your car in your picture!
