    Mike,

I got swamped @ the shop this last week and didn't get the A/C estimate finished. Taking the laptop to Pleasanton & will try to get it done on one of the evenings. Sorry, Walt

Hey surfdog; just wondering if you surf at Grandview. Reason I ask is that I'm working on a '65 wagon (srfwagn on this forum; live in Huntington Beach) and a friend of mine today, who lives up here but works down there, took at pic of a nova wagon (he knows I am into them). I thought I had seen before then I struck me that it looked like yours. Just checking was all. Take care .. Mike

I took a couple of pics of the temporary brackets I made. Really tough to see what they are 'cause they are on the seat in the car. If you e-mail me at stevewilson@telus.net I will forward the pics to you. I suck at that photobucket stuff. Basically the front bracket has a 3/8ths" dogleg in it to get the clearance needed for the seat bolt which now ends up on top of the adjuster because the mounting hole for the adjuster is now 3" forward. The rear bracket ends up having a small 90 degree bend in to again allow for the rear seat bolt and also to give the bracket strength by returning it back to the seat bottom. remember to space the rear bracket off the seat the same thickness as the front dogleg or the seat will be tilted back. Unless you like that low rider feel. I have no idea what the structure of a bench looks like compared to my buckets. The material I used was 1/8" x 1 1/2"
