Hello Phillip - I got the mounts you listed and they worked great. Thanks! I finished the swap yesterday. Man there was alot of challenges due to my lack of knowledge but I overcame each one so far. The engine looks great and ran great for all of 30 minutes - ouch! It devoloped a tick - I shut it down and pulled the valve cover to find a broken lifter sitting in the head. Looked like the spring retainer let go and I hope to find the spring, clip and lifter shell after I pull the intake. The engine sat for 5 years so it may have a few surprizes in store for me. It has good compression and the cooling system was good so I figured it was worth a shot since the motor was given to me by a neighbor who wanted it out of his garage. I picked up 16 lifters and a set of intake gaskets. Hopefully nothing made its way down into the motor. If not , it will be an easy fix. It just bites to undo a few hours of all that work. I wished I knew how easy it was to change lifters while I had the motor on the stand! Once I get past this setback, I plan to drive it for a few months and will look for a stronger rear end in the fall. I believe mine is the 7.5 inch that came with most 6 cylinder models in 77-79. I'm hopeing the lifter is the only problem. The motor ran vey smooth and fires right up. Much more power than I expected for a stock motor. I have a 650 edlebrock and an aluminum quadrajet intake, headders, dual exhaust and a holly eletric pump and regulator. Gotta go so thanks again for the part number of those mounts. It was a perfect fit. Rich.
