I'm going to replace the rusted out chrome wheels on my '67 in the next few months with rally style wheels, but I can't decide what, if anything, I want to do with them. I like the look of all chrome, and I like the stock gray look as well. What I'm curious about is color-matching the wheels to the car. Does anyone have pictures of rally style wheels done this way? I've seen a few, but I need to see some more to help me make up my mind.
I appreciate any help!

Hey. Yeah, your post about being inspired by your buddy's car is one of the ones I ready about this subject. I saw a picture or two of his car, and I like it. I'm still trying to also decide on the color of the car. It's between leaving it the color it is (yellow... see avatar), or some shade of orange.
Thanks, NOGO. Can't wait to see yours when you get the wheels done.

Well, not ralleye style, but my car before the new paint:

I'm trying to decide on what to do once I convert to 5 lug. I kinda like the hub caps and rings I'm using now, or may go with a bullet cap and beaty rings. I didn't have the rims painted the same color as the car (dumb), so I just ended up rattle canning them silver, since they were the color of the old paint job (gold)

They aren't 'correct' to the car - I'm told they're from a Belair or Biscayne

Hey, thanks! That's exactly the type of thing I'm looking for. I've found a few others as well through internet searches. The more I see it done this way, the more I like it.
