s10 rear end

anyone ever use a s10 rearend under 67 hardtop with stock leaf springs? any info will help. thanks

It's not a bolt on. I don't have one under my 67 but I've measured and from what I've heard not all S10 trucks came with the same rear end dimensions. If this is of interest find a disc brake version and prepare to do some cutting and welding. :yes:

4wd s-10 pickup and blazer rears measure 4 inches wider than 2wd models. I think the 2wd rears measure 54"

why would you do that?

most are 7.5 and not the strongest rear end out there.
IMO,
you would be better off with the stock 8.2 and i a disc kit if thats what you are looking for
