pun may be intended!!!

ok, so i'm trying to decide which route to take. should i go with A: The church rack and pinion kit with power, CPP deluxe mini kit and lowering spindles or B: this? (http://www.classicperform.com/Store/1962_67_Chevy_Nova/228235400.htm) what else would be required to complete this conversion?

the way i see it (not to knock anyone) the R/P kit is around 1,700 (manual) plus the 7-800 for the deluxe kit plus 250 for the spindles....that's around the same price as a tubular chassis that in my mind, would handle alot better than the old stuff with upgraded parts.

any input would be appreciated. thanks.

Imho unless you want to keep the car/engine bay looking orginal, I would go with the Mustang II front end. Just be aware there may be hidden costs such as : having to use certain headers and you may want to change to an Ididit type tilt steering, etc.]

Best of luck with your project.

no, it doesn't really matter. i may or may not keep the original for future purposes (in case my son wants to restore it in the distant future).

but if i were to want to, wouldn't it be better to go with the church's R/P kit and CPP deluxe kit and so on?

i guess my question is: would using an aftermarket sub-frame/chassis be a complete package (ride quality, long-lasting components, safe condition) compared to the mixing and matching of CHurch's , CPP, SPindles, etc.
