Lincoln MIG PAK 10 wire welder:

Like new Lincoln MIG PAK 10 wire welder. 115 Volt. Only used a couple of times. This works perfectly. Comes with everything in picture including instruction video. Also comes with roll of wire and face shield which I forgot to put in the pictures.

Here are the details from Lincoln Electric:

This easy-to-use wire feeder/power source is a great choice for MIG welding on virtually any mild steel or stainless steel. Add aluminum to the list with the optional Aluminum Welding Kit. The MIG-PAK 10 includes most of the essentials for MIG welding on mild steel - there's even a spool of wire, welding handshield and instructional video. Just add a supply of shielding gas.
• 30-100 amps output.
• Welds up to 1/4 in. steel.
• Ready to weld with MIG on mild steel. Shielding gas sold separately. Weld .035" self-shielded (gasless) flux-cored wire with optional Innershield Welding Kit.
• Plugs into 115V, 20 amp outlet.
•Gun trigger safety feature keeps welding wire electrically "cold" until trigger is pressed.
• Compact, portable, lightweight and easy-to-use.
• This combination wire feeder/CV power source is recommended for .023-.030" solid wire MIG (gas-shielded) welding of virtually any light gauge, mild steel or stainless steel material (stainless steel wire sold separately). Install K664-2 Aluminum Welding Kit to expand the MIG-PAK 10's capabilities to include .035" solid wire MIG welding of aluminum.
• Welder settings reference chart conveniently located inside wire feed section door makes it easy to set the MIG-PAK 10 for mild steel welding jobs.
• Fan-cooled for long life expectancy

Does it come with the gas regulator, flow meter and hose to hook up gas? If not you'll want to price that stuff as well. Lincoln makes quality stuff so your good there....

Not sure they vary...go to the Lincoln page and see what they say. They might even have some more info on that welder there as well.

You want the gas setup, if you are a beginner you do not want to try and learn with flux core wire, you want the gas and solid wire. Flux is hard to weld with compared to solid and gas, you will just get frustrated with it and quit. The gas makes it much easier for a beginner to learn and feel comfortable. Make sure you get regulators, hoses, and a bottle. If you buy a small bottle from a local store it will be around $75 last time I priced one, cost about $15 to fill it up.

Just open the ebay item page, right click on the address, hit copy, then right click again and hit paste onto the steve's thread list. That should give you the direct link. Post it up and I will take a look at it for you so we look at the same thing.

If it is the $229 unit, keep in mind it does not come with any regulators, hoses or a tank which you really need being a beginner to learn to weld using gas and not flux core which is not fun to learn on. Probably looking at another $100 for regulators, then don't forget a tank which is probably another $75, gloves, helmet if you don't have one. It adds up quick. I do not have any personal use on the Clark, attached is a link for a good home use starter welder from Hobart. These are the people I deal with and buy from, and I buy large complex computer controlled welders daily and set them up for robotic use. A welder is something worth saving up for and getting a nice unit because it will last a lifetime compared to something made mostly of plastic internals and hard to get replacement parts. The clark may be a great unit and parts readily available, I just have no experience with them. Someone else said theirs worked great.

Just tell them 75/25, bottle will last a really long time, just remember to turn it off when you are not using it as those lines do bleed out slowly. Smart choice!
