A little pricey, but it seems to be original on most everything..

If the originality were to be corroborated with facts and documents, then perhaps $20K dollars would be a more fair price. It would need at least $15k dollars in parts...not to mention the labor...:o

Boy, I know someone with the virtual twin to that car, and I don't think you pry it out of his hands for $20K. However he has the matching numbers block and matching numbers tranny. Otherwise, the cars are scary how similar they are.

Sometimes, the nostalgia factor has that effect. If one's car has a special meaning (i.e. you dated your future wife with it, it belonged to a loved one, or some other similar situation), one would not let it go unless one has to provide a roof over one's family, or some urgent reason. And that alone would warrant a pricey price.
But you are right, they're becoming scant and almost rare already..

This car is almost the twin to "the one that got away": 3rd gen in this very same color interior and exterior, V8/4 speed with Corvette rallys that had big and little tires. Man I loved that car. Should have grabbed it for $500... just needed a new nose.
Does this listed car get a discount since it needs new quarters?

It may be a bit over-priced and the replacement block story is a concern, but I like it.

Way too much money for a car that needs restoration work original or not.
