I think you would have to be out of your mind to pay this much for a fan clutch.

The price that people will pay to have an "all original" vehicle. Its truely nuts to me but then again im not building a car that will be fetching $250k at Barrett Jackson if its all original. Check out some of his other listings in his store. Or what he has sold already in his feedback. example...

But like i said before, if that $3800 makes the difference between the car selling for $200k and only $150k (slight exagertation) you would spend it.

This is a very unique part for the descret buyer who wants the best.
You also have to be descret. That eliminates everyone, AFAIK. No wonder it's so rare.

A freind of mine bought a clutch fan for a Boss 429 car about 15 years ago and paid $1500 for it. Take it to Barret Jackson with a flex fan on and see what it will bring compaired to the real deal. That is the reason I have a hot rod and not a restoration.

I sent that guy a message
"I have a 69 vette 427 bbc block, 435hp heads, and forged steel crank all matching numbers. What could I expect to get out of that? All numbers on block and heads are ORIGINAL and have not been re-stamped. Neither block nor heads have been decked.
