This morning I did a search on pressure washers to see what was out there. (I'll eventually break down and buy a good gas powered unit)
However, I came across what appeared to be an auction for a Dewalt 3400 PSI unit with 3 hrs to go and a $330 bid (including s/h).
Scrolled down and read all the fine print, the auction was not for a power washer unit at all, but a list of wholesale distributors!
Also stated there was no return on the list, and they resumed no responsibility for non-informed bidders.
That guy that had the $330 bid is going to be pissed, when he gets a piece of paper in the mail
Just wanted to give a heads up, this guy is doing it on other items as well. Be careful out there....

The auction title says it's a list. Buyers need to pay attention better!

Yes, it does however the purpose of the ad is deception. There is no other reason for him to put a picture of an unrelated item than what he is auctioning.

Yes, I too agree, just stating the buyer needs to REALLY pay attention when reading auction descriptions.

Saw a case like this on Judge Judy, a girl sold pictures of cell phones, but described the phones in the ad to make it look like there was real product. But in fine print at the end it said "you will receive pictures of the two phones" pretty clever. The buyer probably thought, "big deal I don't need the pictures" The buyer paid like 400.00 or something and got an envelope containing pictures of two phones LOL. Judge Judy ripped the scammer a new one. Called her everything in the book almost, told her to get a real job and the scammer insisted she didn't do anything wrong. Little white trailer trash type girl.

He had a couple auctions going but they ended already. The pressure washed ended at $405  I contacted the winner, and asked how it felt to buy a $400 piece of paper? No response yet
All kidding aside, that seller really bothers me. It says his location is Israel, and up to just recently he was just selling petty stuff like printer ribbons and the such. Looked at all his feedback, which is 100% but like I said he just started this wholesale list thing. I'm curious to see what kind of feedback he gets from these bidders after receiving a mailing list. Looks like all of them start out at $99. Surely, these bidders are assuming they're getting something other than a wholesale list?

No response. Looked on Ebay and the seller appears to have been banned. Says he is no longer a registered user. So when this happens, does all pending auctions disappear as well? Looks like the bidders may have got lucky on this one.
