Yea, i am running a 355 with a Comp solid lifter cam with.540 ish lift( i think ! ) a Holley single plane manifold with a 750.A pair of Dart iron Eagle heads. 9 inch Ford rear with 4.30 gears, turbo 400 with a 3500 stall.Compression is 11:1. Thru the exhaust and on drag radials it runs 12.20 @113.It should run in the 11's with more test and tune time.

It doesnt take a whole lot of engine to run 12s. A basically stock 350 with a cam, intake and decent exhaust is more than capable of 12s. Thing is you need the rest of the car setup. You can have a 300hp 350 in a car that is setup right and it will fly. If you dont have the converter, gears, suspension setup on a car you might not even achieve the same results with 400hp.
Its more than just the engine.

Example.... Stock 2000 camaro runs around a 13.4 A good converter and gear change and exhaust will knock it down into the low 12s. And your not even touching the engine.

355" 10.5 comp, forged flt tops, 2 blt cast crank & rods, AFR CNC competition port job 2.05"/1.6" valves, Custom Cam Motion HR cam .227/.232 .528/.535 lift, Comps 1.5 mag rockers, Hurricane single plane with a 1" open spacer,750 pro form main body carb, 1 3/4" hooker super comps,3" to 2.5 DR GAS X pipe ultra Flo's and tail pipes, 3.73 rear, 26" X 10.5" Hoosier slicks, t-350 with a 3000 street fighter converter.

My best time SO FAR is in my sig 1 yr ago with a huge bog off the line.
Since then I changed the intake to an AIR GAP with the same carb/spacer.

Huge difference in bottom/mid and the top end feels the same.
With the bog sorted out and the intake change I feel should knock .2 off the ET.
I might take the exhaust off and put some extensions on , could p/u some more. (would make up for the weight I gained.)
I think the 115mph trap speed should back that up.

I drive to and from the track 88mi rnd trip.

I drive it all the time.

if he had one dead cylinder it'd be right around 355" and i'm sure he'd run somewhere in the 10's...
