I found this in the springs when I had the seat out. I have no idea if this is a build sheet or not.

My first car was a 72 Nova. I found mine in the back seat in the springs.

Yep, build sheet. I found 3 in my 69. One in the back seat's back. One in the back seat's bottom, one in the front bench seat bottom.

I also found a mouse nest in the rear seat with 2 mouse skeletons. :skull::skull::skull: And it smelled real great too! :puke:

How do I de-code this (what's left of it)? I looked on Nova Resource but, did not find a section that talked about build sheets.

There is a TON of mis-information on this website.

Not a build sheet.........a Fisher Body broadcast sheet.

Yes, you can decode it. Not much on it though.

Oh jeez, minor tecnicality.  I use the term 'build sheet' for any piece of paper stuck in the body somewhere. Because that's what it is... it tells you what is in the car from the factory.

Yes, this is for the body. It'll tell you trim codes, upholstery, etc. Useful if you are wondering if your car is factory correct.

I can help with some info that was provided by Greg Roberts. This is the Fisher body broadcast sheet. The first box (seq.) represents the sequence in which your car came down the assembly line. The 2nd and 3rd boxes (month, day) is date of assembly. The 4th box (11427) is body style, meaning it's a 2dr Nova. The fifth block represents the assembly plant. The sixth block is the body number which should match your trim tag. I don't have any idea on some of the boxes left, but some are self-explanatory, like the upper and lower paint colors, and top color if it has vinyl top.If the "trim" box has a 731then that means the car has a standard black vinyl bench seat.
The rows below are supposed to be for options that Fisher body needed to modify the car for, like exterior trim, big block, 4 speed, duel exhaust, vinyl top, etc. Maybe someone with superior broadcast sheet knowledge will chime in with some help.

The RPO codes will help you decode what you have  .
