That can't be a Ford shop.....if it was it would be full of broken cars :D. I've sent you a PM.

Painted all the misc brackets along with the inner fenders. All parts were sand blasted first and then painted semi-gloss black by dupli-color. The last pic is of one the new heads to be installed, there Patriot.

They didn't, it was added by the original owner who lived in Oxnard California. I have removed it and the car will be painted the factory Flame Orange.

Five weeks and counting, this was supposed to take three weeks. The car is finally in primer in prep for block sanding, so hopefully it wil be finished this comming week. There's a lot of work yet to be finished by myself ie: reinstall fresh motor & all the new weatherstripping/trim thats been patiently waiting in my garage. I've entered the car in a local car show that takes place over the course of a week from the 5-9 Aug. So I will be very busy trying to put it back together.

These are photos from the body shop of the car being stripped to bare metal. So far no surprizes and no rust in the car.

There were no issues with the roof after the top was removed, we did find however, a crack in the lead they used to fill where the qtrs attach to the roof on the C pillar.
Otherwise the car is very clean & will require very little prep for paint.

Nice Car!

The old vinyl top looks like a 73 or 74 hatchback "Touring Top". I'm sure there's somebody here that would be interested in the moulding - if you saved it!

The vinyl roof was an aftermarket add on by the original owner and the trim was an aftermarket item also. It went in the trash.

Craig,

I am very close, hope to fire it up tomorrow if all goes well. Electrical is not my strong point and I switched over to a Mallory HEI system, I have to figure out how to wire it up. May need help with the wiring of the starter also as I can't remember how the solenoid gets wired. If anyone has a picture of their starter wired up that would help.
