Cheap alternative to enhance front suspension handling?

Is there anyway to minimize the wandering of the front end at speed on a stock setup? It appears on my 64ss the previous owner installed some lowering springs and new struts and bushings so all that is tight, but the car still gets floaty up front at speed.

Thanks!

Couldnt be sure as I have no info on the previous owner? It drives straight, not sure if maybe the caster is off possibly.

When you say wondering... is it really sloppy steering? On my original setup I boxed the lower control arms, installed a idler bearing kit and rebuilt my steering box. Also did the ball joints etc. Could not believe the difference it made.

Hi Tom, yes I think it may have been the steering I havent driven to verify but it had a lot of slop so I adjusted the mesh on the box and it took the slack out. gotta get the wiring squared away under the instrument panel and rip her down the freeway to see if that did it. . thanks for the advice on the other mods I'll let you know how it goes!

How'd that kit for clearance for longtube headers and things like that? Does it affect it in any way?

Thanks again!

Any headers that fit a stock clip will work with this. No clearance issues.
