Hi there. Well it looks like I may have to give up my nova. Can anyone chime in on a ballpark asking price? Here are some stats:
It's a 1972, Non-SS, Flat Black. It has a new 468 Big Block in it. TH350 auto that is in great shape. It has a B&M shift as well. The car runs fantastically, I just drove it to Calgary and back without a hitch. It does have rust just starting to appear in the form of a dime sized bubble by the rear quarter panel, and a larger bubble beside one of the tail lights. The chrome is in average shape, I was considering putting brand new chrome on before selling it. The suspension is new. The only mechanical issue I have with the car is that every once in a while, when I start it, I get this grinding noise, which turned out to be a cracked tooth in the flywheel. I guess the starting motor would grind on it. The interior is in great shape, the Dash is mint. The carpet is in great shape except for a small hole by the shift. The seats are in perfect shape. The driver's side door doesn't align perfectly, but overall I do get comments on how straight the car looks. There is a small inch-long crack above one of the quarter panels, I think it's cracked bondo. I tested with a magnet and its a really small patch. The car is really fast and drives great, CD player and all electrical work, including lighter, cowl hood. Any opinions on an asking price?
