Externally on my car, All my lights and turn signals work outside the car, but if I am in the car , My dash turn signal indicator stopped working on my driver's side, and the pass side dash indicator works sporatically...

Anyone ever have this happen???

What is the cause??

Thanks,

Could be a host of things, the socket the holds the bulb maybe loose,or the printed curcuit could be warn,or the bulb maybe on it's way out. They're easy to get at from the under side, well maybe not easy, but reasonable.

Yeah, It's driving me crazy... I replaced the bulbs...and checked them behind the dash...the drivers side turn signal just doesn't light...and the passenger side turn signal is still sporatic.... It works, then it doesn't.... I'm stumped..

try switching the bulb sockets to see if the problem changes to the other side. I had the same problem and it turned out to be corrosion in the bulb holder. Pep boyz 99 cent part

Corrosion is a likely suspect for these cases. I just went through something similar with the front side lights, and corrosion was the culprit. After all these years the contacts are just getting crusty, and twelve volts just doesn't have enough oomph to get across much interference ( Oomph: a technical term much used in electrical engineering circles :bored:). It may also be corrosion on the printed circuit, but you will need to pull the cluster to get at that.

Isn't there a ground tab on these???

It's been a few years since mine was apart but vaguely remember a tab on the lower left of the guage cluster.
