66 4 speed tranny

I have a stk 4 spped tranny in my 66. I am taking it out and wanted to see what it is worth?

Muncie or Saginaw?

In case you don't know how to tell them apart, the Muncie is aluminum and the Saginaw is cast iron.

Thanks ..... the car will be here by the end of the week. I will have to see what one it has. Any idea of price on either one or both? I also think i am going to sell the panel that goes on the outside of the trunk. I want to shave it before i have it painted.

I'm not sure about Saginaws because I haven't had a lot to do with them.

A Muncie by itself usually is about $400 to $700, depending on condition, wide ratio or close ratio, drivers side or passenger side speedo etc. There is some variables there. Also, would it be with shifter, bellhousing, flywheel, pedals etc?
