I tried to adapt some longer length Monroe air shocks to my 70 SS to avoid using a spacer at the top. The threaded fitting faces the outside and the plastic air lines rub against the tire when I corner harder. I think a 90 degree elbow right at the shock fitting would work. I contacted Monroe and some others and no help. Any idea? HELP!!

Can you rotate the shock to point in another direction?

The air shocks are typcially only for when you are carrying an overload of weight. Why is it you need air shocks? Maybe a better approach would be to take care of the ride height or tire clearance issues through the use of correct suspension components...you might be a much happier camper.
