What is the most back spacing you can run on a 68-72 nova with stock inner fenders.This is for the rear.Would these fit with no mods.http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=WVI%2D30%2D583405&N=700+0&autoview=sku the tire will be a 235/60/15.

I know Mark (68hevyll) has 275/60/15's on a 15x7 wheel with a 4.5" backspace.

I have 255/60/15s on 8" rims with 4.5" backset on mine. I would suggest 7" wide rims with 4.5" bs - there are some guys running 275s on them. The 8" rims and 255's on mine just barely clear on one fender and have about 3/8" on the other - a common thing on these cars. You will be fine with 235's either way though - but the 7" width and the 4.5 bs might give you more options....
